October 8, 2015 – The McGraw Symposium — Accelerating Change at the WSJ, Yahoo Finance and Bloomberg

The McGraw Center for Business Journalism at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism will hold the second annual McGraw Symposium in conjunction with the SABEW's annual fall conference. Come hear Gerard Baker, editor-in-chief of Dow Jones and the Wall Street Journal, Andy Serwer, editor-in-chief of Yahoo Finance, and Josh Tyrangiel, chief content officer of Bloomberg LP, discuss the the challenges and opportunities they face in reshaping their organizations and their coverage amidst the continuing digital transformation of journalism. We'll look at such trends as the growth of mobile, the rise of distributed content and the spread of ad blockers — and ask each what else they see coming up next on the horizon.

Tickets for the opening night reception and the McGraw Symposium can be purchased on SABEW's 2015 Fall Conference site at SCHED.org. For further information, contact mcgrawcenter@journalism.cuny.edu.
